CNC Machinist

CNC Machinists for IMMEDIATE HIRE

JOB Summary

Industrial Maintenance Company is looking for EXPERIENCED MACHINISTS. Needing both CNC and Manual/Conventional Machinist experienced with CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Bridgeport's, Lathes, Grinders, Horizontal Boring Mills, and Wire EDM Machines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in our manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

IMC offers TOP PAY $27- $45 / HOUR. Rate will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe MACHINIST or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Skills
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming machines
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
- Knowledge of GIBBS CAM and/or Haas programming is a plus

Qualified candidates should have their own tools or participate in Company Tool Program. Be able to make parts from prints with little to no supervision. Must utilize proper and safe machining methods. The IDEAL Candidate will have 5+ years’ experience with a SELF-STARTER attitude.
